This is simply not true. He may wear Attolini but most of his suits are Caraceni or Rubinacci.
It's very easy to spot a Attolini suit jacket, a little sail boat pocket, which is the signature of CA. The photos I see of LM head of Ferrari for decades (with racing back to Niki Lauda days) has the sail boat in many occasions. I am not saying LM doesn't wear Rubinacci as well, I have heard this before. Rubinacci being the more larger house in Naples and they source of fabrics from CA are from the Scottish Highlands, definitely on my blazer anyway, I can spot this without any label of fabric.

All neapolitan and many other tailors, also outside Italy, cut the chest pocket in the barchetta shape. No way you can distinguish an Attolini from afar because the shape of the chest pocket is the same as many other tailors.

You can because of the combinations, CA also has double stitching visible. The double stitching alongside lapes roll and sail boat pocket make an undoubtedly CA identity

You don’t know what you are talking about and spreading wrong information. Not Attolini:

i said CA you can see it because of its combinations..thats not an Attolini or bespoke from other maker? Its strange that people here cannot spot from a distance an CA and a non CA. Even a bespoke experienced tailor if you go to him can try and make a CA look if you ask him to. But in RTW, hardly and on a person is easier to spot it, because how it drapes, not on a hanger

Of course, and with good reason, Attolini is famed for their tailoring, but anything bearing the brand label is stylish and classy.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
