That sizing did catch me off-guard, mine (size 4, unwashed, worn probably 3-4 times) has 54cm pit-to-pit, 53cm sounds really big for size 3. Then again this model is rather "stretchy" even compared to some other knitwear I have from other makers.Beautiful knit as always. Was this the last colour you were missing? ; )
Also, is the pit-to-pit consistent with your other Submariners? Their website suggests 50cm.

No, I don't have the whole collection: in particular, I regret having missed out on this great red/orange shade.
