@DorianGreen if I recall correctly you have the duvet crewneck from Fioroni? Would you happen to have the measurements handy?

Here you are, 55cm chest width pit to pit, 65cm total length without collar for the EU50 size.

It's precisely an Attolini garment, but I would suppose that the measurements are the same as for the Fioroni own ones.

I've worn for the fist time my made to order Oxton Sportshirt (polo neck sweater) and felt it as a little tighter than my vee neck Oxtons, all in EU50 size. Curious about that I compared the two garments and, while pit to pit width, length and other measurements correspond, the shoulder width is visibly smaller on the polo sweater.

Here is a picture.

The fit is still good, but this inconsistency is really concerning.
That green looks like a great colour!

New Year, New Knit - saddle shoulders, turnback cuffs, grosgrain backings, hand-sewn reinforcements, mother of pearl buttons - hallmarks of quality :)

Ha I was about to order that exact knit from them in size 50 yesterday but it went out of stock! You may have beaten me to it. Chest measurement (per their sizing guide) for this piece for the size 50 did seem on the smaller side which made me hesitant. Lovely colour.

I already have one in green ( i think from two years ago) and can confirm that it's pretty fitted, a good thing for me.

Sorry for having beaten you, but there are other nice options.

Edit: I just received a notification that the price has been refunded.
Evidently the item was already sold out and the website not yet updated.
A pity, of course, as I was eying that piece from the beginning, but one can't have anything wished.

There’s a German retailer that has proper sales every year, they go down to as much as 70% on some products later in the season. They carry all the Italian brands that get discussed on this thread

Begg Co has started their sale last week, they usually have additional 15% off toward the end. Agnona started online today. Colombo is having a sale, although they don't show online, you have to contact the boutiques directly.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
