I was wearing my William Lockie chirnside cable knit today and just thinking what a great sweater. Definitely a heirloom piece for me.

Does anyone by chance own a Fioroni Duvet sweater in size 48 and can maybe provide measurements? Also, is anyone aware of a chocolate/dark brown (cashmere) cable knit sweater? I tried JoE but their unisex range does not fit me at all.
In any case thanks in advance.
Probably wrong focus, but lovely tweed!Soft cashmere and merino tweed for a busy Black Friday weekend at Amidé Hadelin.

Always nice to hear!Probably wrong focus, but lovely tweed!
Nice color on the turtleneck as well.
Personally, I'm pretty sure most, if not all, of Rubato's knitwear is made by WL.Was just comparing the William Lockie made Permanent Style Rugby with one of my 3 ply Rubato cashmere pieces and interestingly, the manufacturer, size and care labelling, even down to the label material used is identical. Would certainly suggest, as I had previously suspected, that the Rubato Scottish made cashmere pieces which now seem to be sold out are WL made. My impression is that the Rubato pieces are a slight level above the usual WL stock items.
Thank you! I had the opportunity to touch one in a store two years ago and it still has not left my mind. It seems like EU48 would be the way to go. Maybe, somewhere, I can find one in a (dark) green or brown...I have an Attolini (same as Fioroni) in EU50, it's 55cm pit to pt.
I want to remark how nice the hand feels, so dry, dense and silky. It seems impossible that it could ever pill.
Tried this on in the JoE store on New Bond Street recently and it’s a really lovely piece. Great colour too.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, this pair of pure cashmere gloves from A Hume (made by Lockie) already looks pretty beat up after a week of traveling. I'll give it a wash and maybe use an electric shaver to remove the pills once I get home.
I do have a pair of wool lined dark brown leather gloves from hestra, but I thought they'd be too dressy (I dress much more casually when traveling - sneakers, jeans, bomber jackets, rather than dress shoes and sport coats).
