Not everyone's cup of tea but I actually like the Panamericana grill on the Mercedes.

I like the second set of wheels way more than the first.

Also, this is going to be an issue future RTC has to deal with.

Damn race pad dust... Previous owner never cleaned it. I'm going to try to get as much of it off as possible and spray it with the same paint I sprayed on the roll bar. Or maybe silver.... Undecided.

forgot to reply to this. If you talk to a local garage, their supplier should be able to hook you up with a gallon of legit degreaser. which you fill spray bottles with when you need it. stuff is safe for hands in short periods if you wash your hands after use.(wear gloves if you want to) but gets all kinds of filth off of paint and metal. i think it might be alkaline based....

i promise that stuff will clean them like new with a plastic brush. have cleaned all kinds of stuff with it.

nice wheels BTW.

Looks like a cross between Jeep and Mercedes.

Looks like they just slapped a new huge grill on the current GLC. I've noticed huge grills is the thing these days, from Lexus to Chevy. :(

Thanks! I bought some stuff a few racers recommended and hope it works. I'm probably just going to repaint the wheels since they're likely going to look like ass once I'm done brushing everything off.

it's not a joke, but a cruel reality dealing with old rusty north east vehicles

Unfortunately that's not the case. Car wasn't really driven in the winter.

It's more of a function of the metal being really soft. It's apparently an issue in these cars. I just talked to a bunch of folks that has this happen to their cars and they live in fairer climes.

Oh well... what can ya do...

I'm half of the mind to just ignore it for now and deal with it when I feel like it. It would be nice to actually be able to drive this car again and loads of folks run them without the rear sway so it should be fine for some street use.
