Looks much better in this photo (assuming it's the same colour/car)...

On a non-PTS note, I'm really liking Miami Blue. Gives off that Mexico/Riviera Blue vibe which I would argue are two of the most lusted after 911 colours...
I think we will have to agree to disagree. I think its a really ugly color.

Yes, those shades of blue are very popular with some folks, but I look at them think wow that person must have loved the "Smurfs." I'd never buy a car in those colors, unless it was say a show car condition, low mileage early 70s 911S and the paint was all original.

It's funny how guys create and boast about these 1 of 1 cars as if it's some sort of feat whereas they're just creating ugly colors nobody wants to buy (which ironically defeats their intent in the first place of creating a high value car) to artificially increase resale like Dino said.

These are the same guys who aren't driving their cars so basically they're not doing it for themselves but for future owners which conceptually is like not banging your girlfriend to keep it nice and tight for the next guy.

Stupid thermostat had moved itself off the rails and was stuck. Studying and waiting for the sealant etc to set (its cold downstairs).

I'll refill coolant and burp/drive tonight if I have time.

I bought a BT OBD II code reader so I should be able to monitor coolant temps on my phone to make sure things are good before I install the wideband and ECU this weekend.

Speaking of ugly pink Porsche...
This was in an article on Bloomberg.com today about Chinese luxury spending.

My adult nephew is spending way to much money on his Subby. It's a several year old WRX. He tells me he just paid to have installed a custom built transmission, Exedy stage 2 clutch, ACT 8lb Streetlite flywheel, Group N transmission mount and Mishimoto throttle body hose from the intercooler. Idiot.

Sounds like a fun car. I'd hit it.

Hopefully he's doing some engine work to have the car take the boost he seems to want to put down. Oh... and brakes.

I've been in a few 300-400 hp subies. They're a bloody hoot.

Several year old = hawkeye? Hopefully it's an STI too haha.

He's been working on it for a few years now and I'm assuming he's had prior work done. I don't want to ask as that will seem like I'm encouraging him and I don't want to do that.

This could also be a hibbeldy:
Took the Tahoe in to my guys for an oil change. It's the wife's ride (famwagon) now but I wasnt gonna let her take it to Pedro's unknown qual whatever Garage up the street, even for a simple oil change. Anyway I forgot to ask for synthetic and my guys put in Shell. Kinda annoyed. Pure placebo and pretty unnecessary but it always feels good to feed your ride the good stuff.
