Who is the target customer for the Nissan Murano?

They’ve been around for a long time and I see them on the road, but I’ve never known anyone to drive them. But I know lots of cars appeal strongly to specific groups of people even though others would never look twice.

What group is out there that looks at the Murano and says “hey, that’s the car for me”???
Shut your mouth and show some respect.

Find me a better SUVertible to eat up highway miles AND survive a summer in a senior community.

If you believe the stereotypes, it’s the guy who doesn’t have $3000 to replace his Altima’s CVT but has a FICO that starts with a 6 or less.

Oh god, I forgot about the convertible abomination version.

I still remember being with the gaggle of media when they revealed this in LA and everyone was so confused. Then a few years later, Range Rover revealed the Evoque convertible in LA and everyone was even more confused, although their intro video of "young" drivers packed in the top down Evoque as it drove through the snow was a better marketing image.

At least not any Theresas who are in Nissan’s budget and credit score range…

The funny thing about SUVertibles is that no one blinks twice at Jeeps, Broncos or even Suzukis and Isuzus, because from the beginning Jeeps were open top vehicles.

But everyone clearly sees how weird it is to have a crossover mall crawler droptop. Hard to pretend that someone is going to be taking a Murano or Evoque to a beach bonfire.
