Of course, Finland's car tax (something like 80%, second highest in the world)) isn't helping much

At least you don't have a car tax. Denmark and Finland lead there. 1/3 is not even bad, I think the max income tax rate in Finland is 60%, but to get there you have to earn a lot. I think my tax % is around 25 with about national average income. I think Sweden's taxes in general are slightly worse (ie higher) than in Finland.

To get back somewhere near to the subject, a new Toyota Corolla sedan 1.6 basic model costs 22,020 euros around here. I hate to think what our American friends get for the same money.

JET: I'm liken' the BBS wheels, just not the gold centres.

I just sold my 1971 Volvo 1800e a few months ago. Currently tooling around in a '87 BMW 635 CSI, '06 Crossfire Convertible, and an 02' Nissan Pathfinder LE while the rest of my family is on vacation.

Thanks fellas, those were my first set of wheels and now the car is on its third set, my own spec custom kinesis wheels. The gold centers was a tribute to the old e30s that had gold bbs mesh back in the 80s dtm style. Though not for everyone I had to do it for myself and I got the most compliments in person by far.

Thank you kind sir. I broke many a neck with this setup rolling down the sunset strip not that I wanted that kind of attention but it was nice. I'll try and post up some newer shots too soon.

Well, I can't live up to some of the standards here, but this is my car for now. I will probably be selling it shortly before I head off to school. It's a 1999.5 Jetta GLS 2.0 Automatic.

And here's the other car I drive fairly often, my mom's 2003 Passat 1.8T Tiptronic.
