Can I wear a different color blue pant with my blue blazer? pls help

I have a Polo Ralph Lauren double breasted blazer blue and i wanted to get blue pants to go with it so i ordered some Ralph Lauren Purple Label linen trousers. The pants arent the same blue..is that okay?

First of all, wtf happened in your room? Secondly, the pictures are not great enough to show the color difference, but based on what you've said I would not wear the items together. I OCD on these items and for me the color would have to match or offer a bit more contrast.

You can wear blue pants with a blue blazer, but they've got to be clearly different or exactly the same - not close in color. Close looks like a mistake.

Is that a Ralph Lauren made in China US Olympic Team opening ceremony blazer? It looks like one, minus the pony logo. I woudn't do blue pants with a blue blazer, try white or grey or something.

+2 . Just about any colour except blue will work. Also, The jacket seems to be worsted wool and I am not sure that works well with linen trousers, regardless of colour.

Also, that is one damn dirty mirror you have there.....

Wear grey or khaki pants. With this jacket khaki would look the best imo.
