Guys - I'm looking for some quality dress pants in the $100-$300 range and my size is unusual at 31/32 waist and 34 length. I see there is a classifieds forum here but most pants aren't listed by waist & length. Some pants could say size 32 but it doesn't refer to the waist in that number. Hence, what's the best way to search - it could be a little confusing for someone who has just shopped at local stores so far

Assume you’ll need to have any off-the-rack dress trousers tailored to fit, just like any new suit you buy off the rack. Your price range allows you to get new trousers, which are often unhemmed, and have them adjusted to your dimensions.

I’ve had pretty good experiences with Spier & Mackay trousers, after some work with my tailor. I recommend avoiding their slim fit (the legs have a taper I find too acute) and getting the contemporary fit, and having it slimmed and taken in as needed.
