Postal Rates went up. OK. No big deal.

WHAT THE **** HAPPENED TO THE EBAY DISCOUNT??? I just printed a label for a priority flat padded, 2%.

Edit: So USPS increased the rate by $0.05, but the commercial rate by $0.60. Guess I'll be resisting all my shirts as FC now.

Just got my first return request opened against me. Buyer claims I sent the wrong item (shoes instead of a shirt). He provided pictures of the shoes and a box with shipping label. The box is clearly not from me (wrong addresses on the label).

I sold him a shirt, which I sent First Class in a poly bag.

Am I SOL or do I have options?

Make sure you communicate through ebay message system and state the facts. Did he replace the label and place over your box? If you have a picture of the label and it is not your address, I’m not sure his claim will stand up.

But if you accidentally sent him shoes, you’d have sent those in a box right? Did you also sell a pair of shoes around the same time?

For what it's worth, those shoes didn't arrive in that box. I ship Mezlan shoes quite often. They weigh more than 10 ounces. Those shoes shipped Priority, not First Class.

I don't think so. I tend to change the shipping charges as I go, since I use calculated shipping and charge for it.
