Now, anyone old enough to remember when Lock, Stock arrived will remember just what an incredible influence its Mod inspired costumes had on the world of fashion. You could not pick up a men’s magazine of the time without seeing some guy in slim trousers and a jersey polo shirt. Stephanie Collie invented this look, thus providing one of the clearest examples of how costume design can transcend a movie and become something more. We would go so far as to say Stephanie Collie helped define an era.(c) https://clothesonfilm.com/the-look-of-love-qa-with-costume-designer-stephanie-collie/

Get the Lock Stock look. Our selection of smart casual polo shirts from Gabicci, Ben Sherman & Pretty Green.

In Celebration of the 21st anniversary of the film we have put together a collection of Lock Stock inspired polo shirts at 80s Casual Classics. The film features numerous tipped collar polo styles from Gabicci as seen in the pub scenes with Bacon, Tom, Soap and Eddie. We’ve also got that classic casual British style from brands like Pretty Green and Ben Sherman, both offering up their take on the laid back London look. Great for them slightly smarter occasions with a pair of jeans and casual trainers(c)https://www.80scasualclassics.co.uk/blog/lock-stock-two-smoking-barrels-21st-anniversary/

Well, someone here knows nothing about this style ... and the film was not watched. Well, I posted it as proof that the film had an impact on fashion.

I do not mind if the moderator renamed the topic and / or moved it to the desired section where mods and skinheads hang out

Keep going actually, this is entertaining.

I can also find references to the TV show Friends influence on fashion. It doesn't mean that its good or that you should dress like Joey.
