I've had several from Jack Georges and have been very happy. Here are two I like a lot. (Have the top one in British Tan)

They're cases are made in the USA (many of them, anyway) and reasonable at ~$500.

Hey everyone,

I've been browsing for a long time and wanted to join and share.

This is my briefcase: it's from 1945, snagged through ebay. I love the wear/character it has. It's a nice stiff leather that remains upright, which I wanted.

(Sorry--I can never figure out how to imbed a photo on a forum)

Here's my custom made bag, just got it yesterday ahead of schedule. Very pleased with the look, now just have to see how it holds up over time:

A few quick details:

  • Full grain American steerhide leather in medium brown
  • Hand stitched
  • Brass hardware
  • Shoulder strap not shown but included

Where'd you get it made? And approximate cost?

Does anyone have an SAB Whitehall? I would love to see a pic of someone holding one. It is really hard to get a sense of scale from a bag-only pic.
