Staxxxx are not all that tricky, compared to, say, finding a cure for leukemia. Provided yer jeans are of sufficient length and aren't too tight around your lower leg, breaking in and softening the fabric will work fashion magic.

i otter waxed every pair of denim that i own. (0)

its not too noticeable of a difference though, and it smells bad.

they have a weird pine-sol(ish) smell for quite some time after the initial waxing. its totally noticeable. i was happy with the results for a little while at least. it seems like the actual wax coating fades away pretty quickly though and it definitely doesnt hold up after soaks/washes.
