Hi All,
I need advice on renewing my wardrobe. Worked in finance for several years, and left the markets in late 2008 during the crisis to go back for my PhD. In school, I was dressing much more casually and cutting back on clothing purchases since I found I’d accumulated quite a stock.
Now my casual and dress shirts are showing some wear, and I want to replace them. Most of my favorites were Harvie & Hudson shirts I bought over the years. I liked the designs and mother of pearl buttons. I’ve noticed H&H’s prices have gone up substantially (I used to get them for GBP 33), and so not sure if the QPR is the same as it was in the past.
I’m living in Florence for a few months, and so can buy things here, and also make it to NY and London quite frequently.
What are my best options for shirts if I’m looking to spend in the range of US$60 or under?
Looking for a mix of button and French cuffs, with classic designs (plain white, blue end on end, Bengal stripes, etc)
Any advice appreciated!
