Anybody know how Luciano Barbera sizing for sportcoats goes compared to, say, Corneliani or Isaia?

Thanks

I think it depends who the maker is, but my experience is that it seems to be a bit larger size for size than Isaia and probably about the same as Corneliani.

My Attolini for Barberas all seem to run a bit big compared to Canali and Isaia (50R in Attolini for me fits like a 52R in Canali taken in a bit); agreed.

I wear a Euro 54R in Isaia and a 52R in Corneliani. So, I'm thinking that if I'm going to get a Barbera (from Lance), that I should probably go with a 52R - would you agree with that?

I am a 40R in Corneliani and a 41 in Barbera. I was trying on Barbera jackets today at Filenes. I find them very unattractive, as they make me look like a walking pick stitch. Too much for me.

And these fit the same? I find that Isaia is slightly slimmer than Cornliani but not a full size. In any case, my 54 Barberas fit slightly fuller than my 54 Isaia FWIW

Not exactly the same. My 54 Isaias fit me a little bit fuller than my 52 Cornelianis, but I get a good fit out of both of these. On the other hand, a 54 Corneliani is noticably too big on me, and the a 52 Isaia is noticably too small. Go figure.
