I'm gearing up for a three-week adventure in Bali and could use some advice on accommodations. Should I opt for a lavish five-star hotel, Viceroy Bali, a cozy apartment for a more local experience, or perhaps indulge in the opulence of a luxury resort?

It's really up to you and what you like. The Ritz Carlton at Nusa Dua was one of the nicest hotels that I'd stayed in at that point. Do you want to stay at the hotel and be pampered, or are you going to be doing your own thing mostly?
