THINGS I HATE
  1. Questions without context or background
  2. Lists
  3. Irony

Irony requires a high degree of intelligence to grasp it's signification. Just saying.

I'm doing a list of things you wear over 30:

- Have to watch the news
- No sneakers
- No fashion watches, dive watches or NATO straps
- No piercings or tattoos
- No bracelets
- No brightly coloured / novelty socks

Anything I missed?

Who comes up with this stupid list.

Fun socks are still fun. Sneakers are still comfortable. GTFO.

Well, at 32, I do watch the news and don't have any tattoos or piercings...

Oli - delete this list and make up your own mind.

I remember exactly why I started wearing bright socks. It would have been in the '90s. My sons both have the same size feet as me, and they started raiding my supply of navy and grey socks to wear to school. So I cracked it and decided that nobody would be in any doubt which socks were mine, and swore off boring socks forever.

Unless you wear them with shorts, they are only ever a flash of colour anyway, nothing to be frightened of.
