It is new collection and existing stuff. Not a sale.
Some great stuff in the collection.
Look forward to popping in - the space looks great from the photos I have seen.
I looked in on Saturday. Christian was there and said he'd be there a couple of more weeks. Not easy to spot; I must have walked past him three times.

Any recommendations for Singapore shopping? I'll be there next week for a few days.

Looking for anything in particular? I'd definitely recommend making an appointment with Seamless Bespoke to check out their samples and Enzo Bonafe/Yanko/Oriental/Josh Leong, and swinging by Yeossal, Last and Lapel, Carmina, Colony Clothing, Vanda Fine Clothing, Kevin Seah Bespoke.

If you haven't been before, also check out Liao Fan Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice (michelin starred hawker restaurant)

Stopped off in DJs the other day. Apparently skinny ties are still a thing, but whilst they still have the same crappy brands of overpriced cotton-poly shirts, in displays that are the same as ten years ago, the good news is that they’re now selling cotton-poly shirts for only $99 instead of the $120-160 they used to have them for.

No wonder Suit Supply and Lewin opened here, and CT advertise so much. Easy pickings.

I also spotted the attached, no doubt waiting for its StyFo seal of approval.

On the subject of David Jones, a friend invited me to attend a Canali VIP event they had in the Sydney conservative business dress DJs last week.
I tried a jacket on for the hell of it, and was surprised at how light it felt. Turns out they're fully canvassed. Felt lightyears better than most of what you see locally.

Their staff member John picked up my low right shoulder immediately, and said he could put a shoulder pad in to correct it. Turns out he was trained by and worked with Adamo, and still teaches costume making when he's not working in DJs. Nice guy, and knowing he's worked with Adamo, I'd be much more confident with him overseeing alterations.

I'm told they do have sales from time to time, so might be worth keeping an eye out for that.
