Ok, I think I've finally decided on going the punch cap style for the dark brown gain leather: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/317433473717532725/

Some time back Mrs GF went into a local bottle shop and asked where they kept the foreskins.
The attendent was taken back.
I think she means cleanskins I informed him.
Oh she responded going a deep shade of red when she realised her mistake.
I'm disappointed for you that they didn't fit, @Coxsackie. Aesthetically, I'd say they're close to ideal. Alas, no good for my UK12 clodhoppers either, otherwise I'd be very tempted. Surely somebody here will be able to put them to good use.Took delivery of some Viscata Capsasal suede espadrilles in "sand" colour from Massdrop and alas, they are too small for me. Shame, because they are lovely.
I ordered size 43. Normally I take a UK9.5 (at which size Carmina, C&J and Edward Green are all a perfect fit for me). I couldn't even get these espadrilles on. I'd say they would be good for anyone taking a UK 8.5-9.
Never worn, in their original box. I'll take $75. I work in Sydney and Melbourne or I can post them (buyer pays postage).

I'm not sure how much you want to pay, but the exact ones that Cox posted are available up to size EU47 for US$95. Alternatively, something similar, up to a size EU46 and a fraction cheaper, is available from The Rake: https://therake.com/manebi-light-brown-hamptons-suede-espadrilles.html. But for that money, my pick would be the Viscata pair, based on the apparent aesthetic. Also, while the conversion chart provided by The Rake indicates EU46=UK12, I've personally found that for casual shoes, an EU46 is often too short for me, though I comfortably fit into a wide variety of UK12.I'm in the same boat Epicure. I have been on the lookout for a UK12 espadrille for ages. Do you by any chance have any leads?
Penhalligon’s also at Mensbiz.
Tauer church smell? The TLC in me doesn’t smell it. I would say upmarket bordello myself. I’ve been getting a lot of use out of the Floris 89 I picked up earlier this year.
**** eBay, seriously.
@FredAstaire1899 It was one of the Tauer Rose colognes. The TF Noir de Noir for me has the same aura.

Glad I could be some help. Thanks very much for that. Better than I hoped for. Will check the links out.
Today. X-post from the WAYWN thread. Notable flaws and provenance of the individual items discussed there.
I agree. A touch longer would have been ideal. I'm not sure whether the length measurement was wrong or whether it wasn't translated in the execution. Fortunately it's not so short that I feel self conscious about it.Looks nice. My only nit-pick would be the jacket length - it could stand to be a touch longer.
