anyone have any thoughts of this dupioni as a silk facing for a dinner jacket with this cloth? It's a midnight blue taylor and lodge mohair

Looking to pick up a natural veg tan leather belt to go with jeans. Keen to get the honeyed patina. Any recommendations on who might be making them in Aus? See quite a few on Etsy but don’t really know who is using quality leather.
Try Oak Bark Leather of Colyton Devon. You may pay a dollar more but my brown one is about 10 years old.

And its Pea Coat weather in Canberra.

Does anyone have a Melbourne conservative business dress alterations place that they can recommend? Apparently Magic on Russell Street has closed...

I have Mila's number - she works from home now. PM if interested

I also highly recommend Jose Zarpan for alterations as well.

James actually made me an Equus style belt about two years ago in Bakers leather.

He sent me free leather samples, and a sample piece of stitched belt and he paid the postage on that ...

Probably the best customer service I've had for a remote order.

Damn he’s got some nice work. I’ve already gone ahead and ordered from Crown and Anchor. We’ll see how that turns out. For a stitched belt in the future I’ll be checking James out for sure… Can I ask the cost for your belt?

Anyone know any Drakes stockists in Sydney?
Sadly not anymore.
I think Patrick Johnson used to stock, them but switched some years ago.

I would just order direct from their website. If you subscribe to their newsletter you'll find out about their sales as well when they do have them.

Henry Bucks certainly used to stock Drakes' ties. The Sydney store in O'Connell st may not have many/any, but you could check online and maybe ask for some to be shipped up from Melbourne...

The Sydney store currently has a modest selection of Drakes ties (I was there in Fri making some other purchases and can’t resist browsing through the ties).
