Went to the supermarket this morning at my usual, early-morning time. There were about five times as many people as usual - even waiting before the shutters were raised. Perhaps surprisingly, still toilet paper on the shelves, but a sign stating that people could only purchase one pack. People were mass-buying pasta, tinned foods and other long-life goods. Virtually no long-life milk left on the shelves.

But it's all fine and we don't need to start worrying until Monday, because the PM is going to the footie tonight to watch his favourite team - after he was in close contact with the Minister for Home Affairs, who has been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

I believe I've read that he has decided against going to the footy now

FUBAR was going to the Nackymade trunk show on Tuesday at TFC now it’s been cancelled due to the self quarantine for OS nationals.

I just wanted to say hi to all Australian members. I have been avoiding viewing/reading any clothing related staffs lately to avoid buying more clothing (basically). I am pleased to report no clothing related purchase since September 2019 (excluding gifts received ?). I really feel more in control and lot more $$ in my bank account.

Hi md. I'm going close. I promised myself that I wouldn't buy any new clothes this year. I've stuck to that by buying stuff in op shops. The exception was an order for some sneakers, which I paid for by selling other clothing, so I figure that's OK.

I find it laughable that they bulk buy things when they only really need 2-4 weeks worth. Which most households probably have already.

I think a lot of it comes down to appreciating what you already have, knowing you don’t actually need to buy anymore. As left as this sounds on a forum designed to inform and enrich ones knowledge on menswear, I would suggest you focus on your nourishing the spirit in a non materialistic manner.

It's got beyond laughable now. Here in the regions we are seeing busloads of supermarket tourists coming up from Melbourne to clean out our shops as well. It's sociopathic, and it has got to be stopped, somehow.
