Are my jeans too short? Or do they just appear that way because they're sitting on my shoes?

I am 6'3" the jeans are apc new standards about one year in. I have washed twice and soaked in cold water once.

When I sit there is about an inch of sock showing but Im not one of those people who thinks that your sock shouldn't show at all when sitting.

I used to think my pants should touch my shoes when sitting.

These days I just try not to show my bare ankles (higher socks).

Looks fine.

This was me in high school.. My inseam was already around 34'' and I sagged severely.

The length looks fine, OP. It might be too short for some members here who prefer the stacking effect. However, this appears to go with your aesthetic quite well.

Highly dependent on the shoes you're wearing. Length is perfect on those boots. But if you're rocking low tops, then the length may be on the short side

I still think they can be pulled off with low tops. Just wear some snazzy socks and show them off.

They actually arent boots. Theyre rockport oxfords.

With that said, I guess they arent too short?

and as far as getting more length out of them next time I soak, how much do you think I get by using the 'step on the waist and pull' method thats been talked about here a few times.

I really appreciate all of your input! I guess im just being a little too fastidious.
