Hey all,
I posted this question on reddit but was told it might do better here. I’m new, so if there’s a better forum/place to put this, I’d appreciate it.
I received an email inviting me to a presentation being put on in the Los Angeles area, which is where I work. It’s going on from February 27-March 6 in about six different locations, all held in hotels. I had never heard of these guys, so it was unsolicited. The end of the email says they hail from Kowloon, HK.
I looked at their website and some of their shirts looked interesting to me. When I tried to click the link to see the price, it redirected me to byronshirts.com, which said the site is currently unavailable. (The website also has a SSL from myshopify.com, so I’m not sure how professional the setup is, anyway.)
From the email, the prices are somewhat low- to mid-tier: BOGO “starter” suits for about $800, 4 shirts for $375, etc. It also says they’ve been in business for 50 years, although I have no idea if that’s true.
Has anyone ever heard of these guys or can speak to the quality? I prefer to stay with the brands I know and have used in the past (since I can attest for the quality), but I wanted to see if this place is worth exploring.
Thanks!
