How is it?
Reminds me I have a couple bottles of 16yo that I haven’t come back to in a while. Should rectify that.
VERY good (nose just gets better and better with time in glass), but it’s always a bit of a double edged sword with the quality to cost dynamic, ya know?
If you can overlook the cost, it’s fantastic. If not, still very good, but hard pressed to say it’s “worth” X hundreds of dollars.
Have been wanting to pick up a new 16. Highly enjoyable when I last had it.

This is really enjoyable, even moreso considering the relatively reasonable price

Edit: forgot to mention the screwtop cork. Really love that, it somehow actually adds to the experience as well 😂

My god, I saw this at a local Bevmo for $179, if memory serves.
I believe they've updated/possibly mistagged, because that is WILDLY above even the most expensive I've seen

I’m a sucker lol. It’s certainly a novel pour, and the mentholic finish is absolutely a thing. Does that mean it’s good? Eh.
Fun to experience, but Corry any day.

Since it’s BD time, figured I’d crack this one bottled in 2020, so thanks to GlenDronach also experiencing some of the issues mentioned in the article above, it’s closer to 25 years old instead of 21.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
