Been thinking about ordering, so wore some old TS natty in last few days:

I agree with @Shoenut that the Carbon Strands are very special.

I've given these a few more wears trying to make them work, but alas they do not fit. Another shameless plug, as I'm selling them cheap.

For my fellow weasels: help me compare apples to apples... is there a difference in fit between the Fifth and Hamilton? Wondering if the differences in welt, cap, and vamp affect fit or not.

Even though the insole is different, full leather vs padded, the fit is as close to the same as AE ever has been.

My pair from 2019 is just a standard insole. Not padding.

@AE_Lauren do you happen to have info on the type of insole that will be used on the Fifth Street boot? And do you have the proper names for these insole types, even the insole type used on the Hamilton?

I've seen several shoes of the same kind have half-insoles, full leather insoles, etc.
