When I would go to Santa Monica beach in my suit, the first footwear that came to mind was the Higgins. Not the Maritime, not the Ely, but the Higgins.

One thing that struck me as odd:
First-quality loden suede Higgins Mill boots are on sale for $279.
I checked the price on factory seconds, and they are available for $299.

Why would someone buy the factory seconds if they can get a first-quality pair for less?
