I'd like to get recommendations on shirts that would be worn in the warmer months without being layered underneath a sweater for a business casual wardrobe. They should go well with something like wool trousers rather than chinos. They should also come in a slimmer fit and the collar should sit perfectly and it should exude quality. I'd like to know where I can buy them and what brand. Thanks!

Look for popovers, long sleeve polos, cotton/linen button downs, and chambray (my favorite). Where to find them depends on how much you have and want to spend.

I am looking for shirts that are full button up, not polos, in the $100 price range. I am looking for something that is a touch more formal than chambray or oxford and is made out of cotton preferably.

So you're just looking for brand recommendations?

Yes, basically. They would need to be slim fit as well

Kamakura is a good one. If you're willing to go through MTM, Luxire, Speir and Mackay, and Proper Cloth all have fabrics that can be made for about $100.
