as a cheaper option, Wrangler does 38 inseams for their cowboy pants (13mwz and 936den), probably cuz cowboys... stack.

As well as Wrangler's, another Western inspired brand, Petrol, produce styles with a 38 inch inseam, as do Levi's with a limited selection of styles.

Rock & Republic also now have two styles with a 38 inch inseam - SV18 and Shasha. European brands Mustang and Brax also offer 38 inch inseams.

If you're a tall man who's just after a cheap pair of jeans that fits, not a denim guru in search of some serious stacking, then you could also consider some lower end denim like Buckle's own brand BKE jeans or a European brand like KAM.

You must be incredibly tall. I'm 6'6" and a 36" inseam in denim fits me nicely with a little room to cuff them.

Cultizm at one point had 1947s in 30 x 38. Wish I'd grabbed those, but I didn't realize the price difference if I logged in with a US account (and it was before I was comfortable breaking the $200 on jeans). It's possible that new runs will offer long inseams as well (though I think they'd shrink to maybe a 35" or 36" inseam). Roy (http://www.roydenim.com) also let you customize the inseam, although he's on hiatus right now. If/when he comes back, you probably can't go wrong with Roys (just let him know the length you want post-shrink); I've heard tons of good things about them, and they look pretty fantastic in the fit pics I've seen. Also, oneculture Pulsars (http://houseofoneculture.wordpress.com) have a 37" inseam. And I'll back up the kudos everyone has given to Ande Whalls. The details are pretty opulent - donut buttons, hidden rivets, selvage fly and belt loops - and they come in more modern cuts than some of the repro-minded Japanese companies.

Ande whalls were such gems of the raw jean market just even 2 years ago but now their prices gone up to almost match those of the bigger names. They're still gems though.
The only thing I didn't like about ande whall jeans were they always let the 'truth be spoken' for me. I hated to wear size 34 in jeans I don't want to be seen in such size but that is only way for me to fit into ande whalls!! Dammit I want vanity size and give me 31s

Odd, I had no problem with the waist rocking a 30 even though I think of myself as more of a true 31. My problem is with the upper legs on my Grifters. They're slowly loosening up, but I still kinda look like a stuffed sausage in 'em.

You need to talk to the member: Doctor. He's got an insane inseam and yet has figured out how to balance out his proportions really well. Check his WAYWT posts over the past few days too.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
