30 too old to rock?

I'm feeling self-conscious about being in a garage/punk kinda band at this age.

gut has nothing to do with making music. if you're really good at it [at least don't suck] ppl tend to overlook appearance__ prolly even hygiene... if you're really, really good... maybe

+1 I played in a punk style band til I was 37, would still be playing if I had more free time. And i managed to suck on every chord I played too.

... and yeah, if you do suck, nvm [i'm actually in that realm, anyways]. just being able to play is such a release__ at times even better than sex.
