It's unfortunate but it's not uncommon and it's American as American pie. We're a gun crazed country.

Haven't you heard? Guns don't kill people, people kill people! If this nut didn't have access to weapons he would've just taken everyone out w/ a good old Special Forces' 'kill w/ your bare hands' technique....

What're you talking about? When was the last mass-shooting at an American university?

1 shooting is enough to make one stop and think if guns should be so readily available.

Like I always say: without guns, you wouldn't have innocent bystanders; you just can't have drive-by knifings...no one would ever hit their intended target.

Reports say the shooter has been killed.

Has anyone heard of an identification of the shooter?

I imagine he was referring to the now all-too-common occurence of people 'going postal', not necessarily mass shootings at a university. Often its an ex-employee, as we saw last week in Michigan, before that Chicago, etc., etc. Last year was the Nickel Mines Amish school massacre. Wives and girlfriends are constantly being shot by sick-f#@* husbands/boyfriends who usually then kill themselves. Unfortunately these people are quite brave, fearless and resourceful, and would undoubtedly find another way to inflict their destruction if a firearm was not available...
