My beloved Dodgers have been playing like **** this year but at least they've been doing some pretty cool things with fans.

Granderson batting clean up and playing left today. CC v King Felix. Should be an interesting one.

Quote:

NEW YORK—Following the pair’s highly publicized confrontation before a game last week, New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera reportedly felt the full wrath of fans Tuesday evening for crossing widely beloved Yankees icon Joba Chamberlain. “Nobody messes with Joba around here and gets away with it,” said 46-year-old lifelong fan Chris Ferland, one of thousands loudly booing Rivera during the team’s game against the Seattle Mariners before chants of “Joba” erupted around Yankee Stadium. “Joba Chamberlain is the heart and soul of the Yankees—when you think of the pinstripes, you think Chamberlain. That Rivera guy better learn his place and show some damn respect.” According to sources, the backlash, while fierce, still pales in comparison to fan outrage when shortstop Derek Jeter reportedly had a falling out with Yankees legend Alex Rodriguez in 2006.

Am I the only Diamondbacks fan here? Only just started following the thread, not sure how I didn't see it before.

Really need Aaron Hill and Daniel Hudson back from the DL, the amount of blown saves (12, I believe) is extremely alarming. Putz and Bell love to give up lead-off basehits in the 9th inning, and our set-up man Hernandez is less than stellar as well. Yikes. I'll take 2nd in the West though, going to be a great summer competing with the Rockies and Giants.

Bradford is too.

Giants fan here. Because of Barry Bonds.

I don't think the Rockies will last b/c of their starting pitching.

Really surprised @ Dodgers.

The Giants have the best pitching in the major leagues and they say that pitching wins championships.

There are a lot of Tiger fans in here, and their starters are better than SF. But not their bullpen.

Overall, I'd give a slight nod to the Tigers, but I truly thought they'd win last year...

Giants Stadium in Old Town Scottsdale is the probably the most popular Spring Training venue every year, and that was even before the 2010 championship....Great fans.

I'll be watching Detriot/Texas tonight, some of my Texas buddies need to be taken down a peg or two so I'll probably pull for the D

I think Detroit takes this one. Yu hasn't been very sharp (reletively) in his last few starts. It will probably come down to pitch count and bullpens.

I will be watching the Knicks blow game 5.
