The calls for richt to get fired are absurd. This is a decimated team, he's a great coach, who is a potentially better coach who is out there (chip Kelly in 2 years) and uga has historically been a consistently good team but rarely excellent. It's frankly not a school like usc nd or bama where you have to win championships but I guess in nearly 15 years to have never played for one a coaches time is done there.

I agree. I haven't heard a compelling argument for why CMR shoudl be fired and I've heard people call for his head for years.

That said, today was pretty painful.

Jameis Winston needs contacts, but he's still an amazing football (and baseball) player. Would love it if he led us to an NC and a CWS.

The crazy thing is that this was supposed to be something of a rebuilding year. Our top five defensive linemen, best cornerback, best linebacker, a couple of pretty good receivers, and our quarterback all graduated/got drafted last year. I thought next year was going to be the year. And it still might be. We usually have one inexplicable ACC loss to a terrible opponent. And we face Miami, but I'm actually not too worried about that. Florida will be tougher than expected.

And I get to go to all but one of the remaining games.
