    Changing buttons on jacket

Does anybody have experience with changing the buttons on a sports jacket? I relatively adept at sewing but since the buttons are fastened underneath the lining I'm unsure as to how to go about this.

1 week after owning my first Mac in a decade

Mac mice can't even right-click. Yes they can. Apple mice have had right-click since 2005. I'm not a fan of Apple's mice, though, so I use a Logitech Performance MX which has all programmable buttons you could want.

    Notched Lapel or Peaked Lapels?

I've been watchin the Inspector Alleyn Mysteries which is set in the post-war late '40s. Alleyn is often wearing a cracking three-button (which has only the middle button buttoned so it sort of but not quite rolls to 2), three-piece suit with peak lapels. I've seen something similar on one of...

Do they ship outside the UK? Yes, which is why we're recommending them.

    Where to buy Barbour online?

Have had good service from Country Attire. Postage is included within Europe so that works out nicely if you buy only one item; if you're buying several items at a time, it's too dear. Best in the Country seems like a good choice as they charge postage per order, not per item.

    Armani Tuxedo for my wedding

The problem is not that's it's armani and ventless (yeah well ok, perhaps). Dinner jackets are meant to be ventless. The problem is that it is a tuxedo and IMO should therefore not be worn to a wedding. Americans mostly get married in the evening. I don't get it either but they do. And in...

    Decent boxer shorts? No Bigtimer.

I'm not in NY (Boston), though the CEGO thing sounds intriguing. Anything custom made out of high end shirting material just sounds expensive (even undies), but it can't hurt to inquire. Website here. $25/each isn't insanely expensive.

What is the function of the tie?

Keeping your hands occupied in precarious situations.

Line cook's attire for an interview.

Obviously, if you're not a hoody type guy, don't wear a hoody (I certainly don't feel comfortable in clothes like that). But I strongly suspect even a casual jacket is over the top here, considering both your age and the situation. I would have thought that wearing a nice jumper over perhaps a...

Liberty shirts at Tyrwhitt - bargain..?

First of all: ugh! Do not want! I like some of the Liberty print ties but these shirts are just too, too much. More to the point: They're not the same shirts. The CT shirts will likely be made in the regular CT factory (note it only says Liberty fabric); I don't know where Liberty produce their...

What pants for odd/seperate dinnner jacket

You can get separate dinner trousers (with a satin stripe) which would be more correct than flannel trousers. As for the shirt, turn-down collar (not wing-collar) most definitely since a velvet jacket is very informal. It can be pleated or pique and probably have a covered placquet since a...
