    Looting in GB entertains me

The fact that you call it GB entertains the rest of us.

    What's your work commute like?

1:15 minutes. Should only be about 50-60 minutes but I have to go through 2 small towns and that slows me down quite a bit.

    Is this legal?

It is a way to ensure the traffic fine is paid. The whole, "lucky to not be going to jail" thing is a little over the top but all in all can be true. Local police officers here in south Texas often take Mexican visitors straight to court to have their fine paid because they know if they don't...

    lefty's random dog thread.

My two cents: the time and financial burden are likely greater than you're expecting. I'm single and live on my own so I bring my dog to daycare during the week. I've owned him for 8 months and have spent over $4000 on daycare alone. Luckily I can afford to look after him but looking back, I...

Things That Are Bothering You, Got You All Hibbeldy-Jibbeldy, or just downright pissed, RIGHT NOW!

^That sucks. One of our leashes broke 2 days ago and we haven't had time to replace it yet. So we're taking the dogs out two at a time, and then the third one after. Last night while we were taking two of them out, the third one slipped by and got out the door. We chased him around the yard and...

Things That Are Bothering You, Got You All Hibbeldy-Jibbeldy, or just downright pissed, RIGHT NOW!

In most states, can't landlords not withold anything more than the actual cost of repair? Dirty carpets are questionable since a fair amount of wear and tear is expected (especially if you are there for more than a year) and the landlord should probably be cleaning them before the new tennants...

Things That Are Bothering You, Got You All Hibbeldy-Jibbeldy, or just downright pissed, RIGHT NOW!

damn landlord won't return our security deposits!! i emailed them. no response. my roommate emailed them. no response. i called them. no response. i left a voice message. no response. Just wondering, did you and your roommates do a walkthrough of the apartment with the LL and do some kind of...

Things That Are Bothering You, Got You All Hibbeldy-Jibbeldy, or just downright pissed, RIGHT NOW!

Thanks Ed. Stitchy - No, that's why I need Munchausen's dealer! Its the lease. The long of it is we're both on the lease, as equal parties, so on and so forth. There is no amicable split anywhere in there. If he bolts, I'm stuck and basically fucked over. If I bolt, and then Cokey bolts...

    lefty's random dog thread.

If a dog challenges me for a place on the furniture, he or she gets a good shakedown by the scruff of the neck and a firm verbal reprimand. If the dog continues to challenge, I whip off my belt and drive him off the furniture with a good beating. This +1 Its pretty simple either you're the...

    Do Women Change After Marriage?

Dating and married I've been with my wife for 13+ years. Yes I'd marry her again tomorrow. I'm not the same person I was when we met and neither is she. I agree with the kids change a person, Mother and Father.

    Does anyone wear wigs

Get over it dude! Some day there will probably be a pill we can take to make our hair grow back but until that day just cut your hair down to a crew cut and learn to live with it. Believe me the girls will like the crew cut much more then the wig.

Things That Are Bothering You, Got You All Hibbeldy-Jibbeldy, or just downright pissed, RIGHT NOW!

This is comedy gold. Thank you! +1!!! Went to the store to buy a few CD so I could burn some music to listen to on my up coming 14+ hour drive. When I got home and opened the package I noticed I bought DVD-R not CD-R Good thing I still have the receipt so I can exchange them tomorrow.

21st century women can be difficult

The best device ever created to keep our house cleaned was dads belt! All mom would have to say is "Rex, you better clean up your room before your father comes home." That was motivation enough for us to keep the home in shape. Nannies?, come on. I get what you're saying but I remember my father...

Got a great bonus in my check...was going to buy a Rolex GMT II C, but decided to pay off my credit cards instead. I'm more heart broken instead of pissed...but I'm sure I made the right decision...I'm sure...I'm sure Bmac You did the right thing but that sure is a nice watch. I just spent...

    Hazing in Greek Life

I was in my 30's when I finally went to college. Don't know what the Frats did and really had no desire to join as they had nothing to offer me. I'm with most of the other older posters here, the stupid stuff is pretty harmless but the alcohol stuff is not. But I'm guessing it will take the OP...

    Yardwork

I like cutting the grass but the wife doesn't like the way I edge or weed eat so she does that part. I've had my mower for about 10 years and it's about done so I'm thinking I'll buy a new mower this year. I want to try and grow some tomatoes in pots and a small herb garden this year.
