    That’s been my experience too, for the most part. It’s a small staff, and they likely get crazy email volume, so part of me thinks they won’t reply to stock inquiries if they know they don’t have it. Still, I’d prefer a terse “no.” to being left hanging.

    It’s sounds like the tussah silk Drakes makes ties with. Back when I wore ties I loved those. The idea of a jacket made out of that is amazing. Thank you all for the feedback you shared. I intend to wear this in New England so this has all been super helpful!

    If I were to hazard a guess I’d say synthetic fill. Normally the photos speak volumes and inform if I want to get something or not, but in the case of a jacket I’m wearing so I don’t feel like I’m going to freeze to death specifics would be good
