It's hard to know for sure, but it seems like those "brown" Cambridge/Leeds are actually burgundy in poor lighting. I'll echo the sentiment that while both are great, the Higgins is slightly more comfortable. That last is just perfect for a boot, and they're easily the most comfortable AE I own.- columnsofsteam

In my (limited) experience, outlet employees are usually willing to at least get a description of how a shoe located in another store looks, even if they don't have that shoe shipped into their store to inspect. You can change the sole during recrafting for an extra $10. I know you can choose from the more commonly-offered soles (single oak, double oak, v-tread, black/red Dainite), but I don't know how many additional options there might be.- columnsofsteam

I picked up some inexpensive tan laces from Amazon to put in my brown HM: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CLJV7XG I haven't actually gotten around to re-lacing them, since the boot season down here is still a month or so away, but they look and feel nice.
