The What Are You Wearing Today (WAYWT) Discussion Thread, Part II

I have APC and 3sixteens when I want to wear real denim, but mostly I sit at a desk at home now. Basically all of my tailored office stuff has sat in a closet for the past year and really I just want to wear some comfortable jeans with a slightly higher rise that has a good amount of room in the...

Levi's is pretty hit or miss in my experience. I have a pair I like alright, but I think there quality control is pretty poor. I don't know if I have tried the Levi's Premium or Levi's Made & Crafted though.

Something below $300 Japanese selvedge raw denim, but above Old Navy without being 4 way stretch athletic performance jeans with a heavy Instagram presence.

I've been buying Uniqlo beaters forever, but they have definitely changed the cut on them. I think as they developed their presence more in the United States they adjusted some of their cuts and materials.

How do you like the Todd Snyder denim? Looking for some casual jeans in a slim cut.

Random Fashion Thoughts (Part 3: Style farmer strikes back) - our general discussion thread

What magazines are worth subscribing too these days? I resubbed to GQ ($18 for two years is a pretty good deal). Interested in anything relating to fashion, art, culture, music, etc.

Random Fashion Thoughts (Part 3: Style farmer strikes back) - our general discussion thread

Suggestions for a pair of slim black jeans? My go-to's have always been Uniqlo Selvedge Slim Fits, but I have found their jeans don't fit very well anymore. I tried Levi's 511s but the quality was really poor (thin material that attracted lint and pet hair). I may just buy 3sixteens or Acne's...

Ha yeah I saw that. Pretty sure that was D'Angelo Russell and it looked like he was wearing this coat

Ha classic. Thanks. Yeah that kind sounds like what I am looking for being in LA.

TheRealReal product shots are terrible. Anyone have the Alexander jacket? Worth picking up for about $200?

    The Uniqlo Thread

That would be the absolute worst. I am fine with them trying new ideas and turning them quickly, but don't want it affecting good quality/consistent essential items. There is nothing worse than finding out the same shirt or pants I consistently buy are made of a worse material and the sizing...

    The Uniqlo Thread

All the Uniqlo U stuff I ordered (button ups and sweaters) were cut really weird. Really wide in the shoulders and wide in the arms and chest and slim in the waist. I'm guessing its part of the relaxed fit, but it did not work for me at all. I like my military shirt and I ordered the dry package...

    The Uniqlo Thread

That would be a very welcome change. I can see that they are different sku's but slightly renaming the products five different times makes no sense. Cool. I have given up on finding the perfect expensive t-shirt and going back to stocking up on Uniqlo.

    The Uniqlo Thread

What's up with all the reviews on the website saying they changed the fit and material on the Supima t-shirts? Also the website is really weird with a lot of redundant product names. Like are Mens Selvedge Slim Fit Jeans the same as Mens Slim Fit Jeans (Selvedge)?

A.P.C. The official thread for APC denim sizing and other questions.

Yeah I think this is right. I think if you have bigger legs then you generally cant size down as much to get the waist to fit perfectly. I generally only size down one now because if I go down two its extremely uncomfortable in areas where its not going to stretch as much. I used to size down...

A.P.C. The official thread for APC denim sizing and other questions.

Does the waist on A.P.C. raws ever fit great for anyyone after fully stretching? It seems like unless I size down to where the jeans are too tight everywhere else I am going to have some extra room in the waist. A little annoying to dial in the right fit but have to always wear a belt.

Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)?

I would only recommend dstld if you are slim and tall. I have to take a L in their tees and the length is too long to wear unless I am layering with something else. Collars haven't held up very well either.

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

From what I have seen and heard the fit can vary a bit by season and year, but I have found the 5-zip to have a pretty strong v-shape. My 5-zip is very snug in the waist but roomier in the chest and has slightly dropped shoulders. I prefer a more relaxed fit on the 5-zip, which feels more like...

I'm open to either. Brooks Brothers seemed like it was probably a fuller cut than I was looking for. Yeah I poked around in the CM side of the forum, but the CM advice seemed to be spend more money on nicer pants or comb Yoox or Ebay to find good deals. I'm really just looking for something to...
