RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

That's a shame. The staff there have helped me & my RMs in many ways over the past 5 or so years (since my 1st pair). My wife and I had visit only a few months ago while we were Christmas shopping. We were thinking about ordering her a pair of boots. We looked over leather swatches, found...

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

kangaroo leather creases a lot. It's great though as long as you embrace the creasing. I had a pair of RMs in chestnut kangaroo that developed maybe my favorite patina amongst veal and yearling.

Nungar in my experience has a history of spotty communication at best, but trustworthy nonetheless.

Skytop's Pullman Briefcase: Saddleback toughness with extra class?

FYI this thing is holding up really well. I'm actually having a hard time making it look "used". I think it will be a looooooong while before this case needs to be retired. Still thumbs up.

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

Right, I didn't even think to mention which color to use for the sole. I like the way it turned out though. If I ordered the slightly lighter than chestnut, dark tan, I probably would like the bone colored sole. And oh well, I should have, could have, would have... camel leather next time...

How to make my feet look bigger?

Oh god, 2, posts, I'm being trolled aren't I. At least I feel warm and fuzzy for trying to help. :nodding:

How to make my feet look bigger?

This probably doesn't help at all but here goes: I'm of the opinion that 16 is just a sh*tty age when it comes to certain things. Having size 4 feet would be one of those things. I believe all you really need to do would be to tell your self "f*ck normal sized feet. I'm rockin' my size 4's" If...

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

So I'll drone on about my own post: I'm still in the novelty phase of owning my new boots and I noticed a few differences from the "standard" vesta leather vs the yearling I chose. I'll borrow a couple photos from earlier in this thread (thanks to & courtesy of kerodean ) The first thing I...

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

I bet they would. Just have to find the right RM dealer. I always rotate between Stable Door, Nungar, Aussie Bush Hats, etc. because they all tell me different customizations can be done to different RM boots. These Riggers, as a case in point, could not be done in Yearling via one of the...

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

Yeah, you know they would be interesting in a leather sole too, but I wanted a pair of RMs that would bridge the gap between a work boot and my chelseas.

Riggers were shown here before. I just got a pair in yearling. Pretty cool boots. 'scuse the iPhone pictures.

Skytop's Pullman Briefcase: Saddleback toughness with extra class?

Whatever it looks like I really like it. I travel a lot and I can get in and out of my case with ease at the airport. Even at work (normal situations), it's way faster than a zipper. I keep my 14" laptop, modest amount of papers, two moleskin notebooks, laptop & phone chargers, writing...

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

Wow that sucks. The 1st is just terrible. The 2nd - is your heel not snug in the back of the boot? It just looks like your heels are swimming back there. Mine appear to want to do this too but don't because my heel is preventing it. Actually, I'll have to see what mine do when I arch my...

RM Williams Boots - Everything You Wanted to Know

I know personally that Aussie Bushhats and Nungar will submit custom orders. So will the NYC store. I've never ordered your specific Whiskey & dynamic flex sole but I can't see why RMW wouldn't make that since they seem to accept a myriad of other MTO combinations. Did the stores tell you...

Skytop's Pullman Briefcase: Saddleback toughness with extra class?

I managed to snap some photos this weekend. Overall I am really happy with the case. My one complaint is there are no traditional pen holders inside. However, there is a holder in the front compartment about the right size to hold a pair of glasses that would also hold pens just fine. Also, the...

Skytop's Pullman Briefcase: Saddleback toughness with extra class?

It arrived on Monday. I'll try to get some pictures this weekend. edit: ...that is, pictures this weekend after I return home. Thus my absence of opinion about the briefcase so far.

Skytop's Pullman Briefcase: Saddleback toughness with extra class?

No one know anything about Skytop? That's a shame. They seem to make really well constructed cases.

Skytop's Pullman Briefcase: Saddleback toughness with extra class?

I forgot to mention I travel every week, so white collar seems to have replaced my blue collar. I do still enjoy the outdoors when I can but let's just say whatever case I get will be pulling frequent carry-on duty. ohhh F it I just bought it. Shitps June 26th. Happy fathers day to me :slayer...
