@ManofKent – I picked up a pair of the MIE DMs after seeing yours all the time and was surprised by how absolutely atrocious the leather was. Just a follow-on for this: I stopped by this Nordstroms today to scope any pre-Black Friday potential and no one that worked in the men's department had even heard of Engineered Garments and they had no indication/record of plans to stock it this season.- eluther

Unlike mbaum, I really like the material itself – have the cardigan in it. Think it's a really rich shade that pairs well with every shade of brown. However, he's right about the cut being weird. I think the model in the lookbook is sized up- eluther

I got the Hooded Interliner from FW14 in brown fair isle. Yes, it's a layering piece, and it goes well with pretty much anything given how short it is. If you're too self-conscious for someone to see that you're wearing a dickie, then a dickie isn't for you.- eluther

What MoK said is true, though I'd add that the Workaday 19th Century BDs are identical detail-wise. However their fits aren't always the same because, like everything else EG, the patterns are recut for every season.- eluther

Agreed. Doing all EG well requires you to have either very specific outfits or a lot of it to choose from. They make a ton of really boring pieces every season (which people tend to gravitate toward) and the aesthetic is more nuanced than most people give it credit for. There isn't a ton of...- eluther

Pattern changes every season. SS 14 was straight and short FW 14 was a longer version of SS 14 SS 15 was tapered (most different fit of any EG fatigue) FW 15 is a shorter version of FW14- eluther
