Yeah, I love that contrast coming from underneath brown layer too, but I guess I prefer leather being smooth. Still beautiful broken-in pair yours are. I hope I can get that kind of fading soon.- fasthall

Is leather liner recommended for dress brown? Does it affect breathing? I have sweaty feet, and I wear boots four seasons. Also, does leather sole wear off quickly? If I go with double leather sole, does it increase resoling price and shorten resoling period? I won'y use the boots for real...- fasthall

I just came across this RRL Bowery(sorry for keeping post non-White's images!) Source It looks almost perfect to me. Would you say Bounty Hunter with dress brown leather looks similar to this? Is dress brown darker than this RRL? How long does it wear off like this?- fasthall

I think I can't get White's medallion cap and C461 out of my mind haha I'm considering French Calf now. It looks pretty decent brand new, but I couldn't find photos of aged French calf.- fasthall

So I guess my options left are buying brown CXL and use burgundy shoe cream on it(don't judge me) or dress brown. Does anyone know how long does it take to break-in dress brown to the lighter color like this post?- fasthall

After 4 pairs of Red Wings, I finally decided to have a pair of White's! I'm considering 6' Bounty Hunter(SJ with SD last, but I probably go with C461) and medallion cap toe. I am choosing between #8 CXL, brown CXL. My concern is that I have a Red Wing Beckman 9011 and Iron Ranger 8111. #8 CXL...- fasthall
