I'd say it's almost more dependent on what you ask for and i suspect also the material could potentially influence. For any any shoes where you would like to (more than marginally) improve durability go with the taps BUT as usual ymmv. The pegs looks good and if your wear on the toes are just slightly more than the rest of the sole the additional resistance they provide in the beginning might extend the life...- sdfzs

I'd also strongly suggesting working with the StC team on the changes you want to do, re-lasting your current pair before proceeding. To me this is the love child of Riva and Chiseled-B. Almost like they took the Riva and made it a chiseled profile but not as aggressive as Chiseled-B. It could be so that the personalized last is the only alternative here since the fitting pieces are typically about adding material and not basically sanding of material from the tip of the last. Both GEYO and Danite protects you equally from below and in my view i find GEYO to be softer. The missing studs on the GEYO and it's effect on the traction could be discussed from a philosophical point of view but in my view they are equally good/bad since both are very flat rubber surfaces...- sdfzs
