You have a point there. And maybe my posting was a tad unfair then. So no hard feelings. Besides, I realize there are other, also smaller businesses here promoting their products here as well.

Hi Ethan, nothing personal, but commercial advertising is the last thing this thread needs in my opinion. But everyone's mileage might vary. At least I am out.

Men's Hats: A Discussion Thread, Questions, Opinions, Suggestions...

As a fookin' Peaky Blinder you don't have any betters you need to address! Don 't mess with me!! ;) Seriously, I just wear this cap regularly here without any salutations to superiors on my mind - as crazy as that seems to you.:)

Well, anyway, whatever, I find it a bit difficult to deduce something from two or three garments of a brand.

Maybe this thread should be renamed into 'Nigel Cabourn bashing'? ;) Seriously, as for me the quality of especially the tweed garments leaves nothing to wish for, and my raw tweed jacket is far from what you wrote about the NC tweed jacket of yours.

Being fully aware of my grave- thread-digging: I have the cap in black and like it very much. Classic Peaky Blinder tweed cap, that! Still winter here - well, a mild one.

Thoughts on Elbow Patches (Sport Jackets)?

So at the end of the day everybody is different, it is entirely a matter of personal taste whether you like those patches or not. I can’t say I love them but they don’t bother me either.

Thoughts on Elbow Patches (Sport Jackets)?

As for me, I quite like wearing this highly informal if not rustic Donegal Moon tweed jacket which came with brown suede elbow patches. Dorky or not - couldn’t care less.

That is surely right. Given the warmth the jacket provides as well aas the mild winters over here layering is not really necessary though.

Well, I ended up buying that jacket, since its cut is far from being too roomy, on the contrary, it's rather slim 'n' snug. And very well made and warm, of course.

Oh, currently I am 155 lbs only, but my arms are pretty long - my nickname was gibbon - you get the idea?;) So that jacket in 52 might be too boxy and needs adjustment (binge eating or tailoring:p).

Hi everyone, this thread has become rather quiet, but nevertheless I would like to ask a question: Are there any opinions or experiences to share on this NC X Fox Brothers hunting jacket? I am just curious as I have come across a second hand opportunity and was wondering if size 52 would fit my...

Your comments on the fit sound good to me as a very slim guy. Similar to the aforementioned cut work trousers which are apparently and luckily slimmer than I had originally thought. Appropriate thread material, haha, and nice pun (if intended;))

Gents, imho the discussion the DHL delivery issue could have better been a matter for private messaging. Just saying.
