The Japanese Repro Clothing Thread (Real McCoys, Freewheelers, Etc.)

Zen market is showing very few pics for me! The auctions are there but most pics just have an “x”. This is terrible! 🤪

    Woolrich vs Canada Goose Parka

Yes I’m talking about the Woolrich EU version. https://www.woolrich.com/gb/en/arctic-parka-with-removable-fur-CFWOOU0482MRUT0001_DAG.html

    Woolrich vs Canada Goose Parka

I’m at my third Woolrich artic parka and I think they are hard to beat as they are super warm plus can be dressed up a little too. I highly recommend them as a heavy winter coat. I got roughly 5 years of daily winter wear (dec/Jan/feb) out of my first two. Still decently looking after that but...

    What do Italian men wear?

Italian here. If you really want to dress like “italian men” I think Brunello Cucinelli style embodies the average 21st century Italian way of dressing to perfection. (Cucinelli is obviously stupid expensive but their lookbooks are worth having a look if that’s what you aspire for)

Japanese Online Stores Proxy Service ZenMarket.jp - Official Affiliate Vendor

Oh yeah you guys are obviously right! Never heard of this specific service and automatically my brain was reading ZenMarket instead of ZenExpress! I always use FedEx with Zenmarket anyway as it’s lighting fast and cheaper than EMS so no big deal then. I fear the ability to mark down things has...

Japanese Online Stores Proxy Service ZenMarket.jp - Official Affiliate Vendor

I get this message when clicking on My Account that says from 5th Nov for 2-3 weeks temporarily suspended. Quite a bummer I bought some stuff this past week (not yet at the warehouse) and I clearly wouldn’t have if I knew this. If they remove the ability to mark down I don’t see what’s the point...

Yeah something is going on, since yesterday they suspended (temporarily) the service to the UK because of VAT issues.

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

With Aero you can add a shearling lining to most jackets for something like $150 upcharge. Ok, it isn’t bonded but still that alone isn’t quite enough to get to £3,300. They clearly have a certain clientele in mind and their prices are set consequently. The jackets seem to be well made but...

Random Fashion Thoughts (Part 3: Style farmer strikes back) - our general discussion thread

Chicken fur? Cow fur? Or pork fur? What fur is a byproduct of the meat industry??

Random Fashion Thoughts (Part 3: Style farmer strikes back) - our general discussion thread

Are you saying getting fur from carcasses? Lol I couldn’t care less of wearing anything with fur and I think slaughtering animals for the sole purpose of using their fur is cruel and unnecessary but what kind of fur would you be getting from a dead old carcass? Honesty, faux would be much...

Random Fashion Thoughts (Part 3: Style farmer strikes back) - our general discussion thread

When I went to the US for the first time I was amazed at the number of homeless people that there were around. I had rarely seen before more than 2 or 3 homeless together, in SF there were literally groups of them. I think at the moment Western Europe has much less of an issue in terms of...

Random Fashion Thoughts (Part 3: Style farmer strikes back) - our general discussion thread

Uniqlo U tees cost $9 and feel cheap like that. The cotton is sort of thick but with a very rough texture. Somebody was comparing them to Japanese repro quality tees... mmm not even close
