    I'm glad JMR brought this thread to my attention since we JUST went through the same deliberations. I wasn't planning on a DB waistcoat but rather peak lapels and a single button on the suit coat. We ended up a bit more traditionally-minded. Maybe if we adopted peak lapels or a DB waistcoat...

    I have a meeting in Brooklyn later this afternoon, so I grabbed a suit. I think it'll soon be too warm for this suit, even though it's a "lightweight worsted", so maybe last hurrah for the season. Then, the switch to solaro, seersucker, tropical wools and silks.

    We just finished redoing the basement, where this was taken. My wife loves these egg crates - she says once you go egg crates, you never go back. That, what you see there, is an egg crate doubled over on itself, tossed lazily on the bed frame, as we wait for the new mattresses to be delivered.

    I had this suit hanging around in the closet for a little while and finally had it tailored. Wore this the other day. It has a thin, small amount of blue if you look closely.

    Fit looks fine to me. What are your reserves with it? I went with pinstripes for a couple of meetings I have scheduled today. The tie is printed with sombreros.
