Woven in Yorkshire by Standeven, one of the last remaining mills in the UK, the mill has been weaving one of the finest luxury cloths in UK for more than 125 years.
The particular fabric produced by them combines functionality as well as a modern design. As described by its name, the summer tweed features speckled detailing across and also has a dry hand to its feel. Yet, the 280 grams weight and porous nature makes it an excellent piece to wear during spring summer. The highlight of the fabric definitely still centres on the mottling of the fabric coupled with the beautiful speckled detailing and will make a great layer for the upcoming spring summer temperatures.
I am 5’11 and 180 Lbs. I wear size 42 in spier Mackay, Cavour or Armoury model 3.
This jacket has been worn 03 times only. Bought at the start of season and I tend to wear sports jackets more often so didn’t get much use out of it. No knicks or knacks. Been steamed after each wear. .
