SOLD SOLD SOLD Rare Edward Green Millfield horsebit loafer – 61 last – 10D UK (narrow)

SOLD SOLD SOLD Rare Edward Green Millfield horsebit loafer – 61 last – 10D UK (narrow)

SOLD!

Edward Green “Millfield” loafers with horsebit. Similar pie crust apron to the EG Dover. Lightweight and unlined. Hard to find and usually must be MTO. 61 Last, size 10D UK (see note below on narrow width). Light brown/chestnut color with light antiquing.

I have uploaded additional and higher resolution photos to an Imgur album:

I purchased these shoes for myself and wore them about five times over a season; previous owner had tried them on indoors only. They are gorgeous, comfortable, and striking, but I don’t need them and want to send them to a better home. The shoes are in very good used condition, as I wore them sparingly and in good weather only. Shoes have been stored with wooden shoe trees, which will come with the shoes.

The seller from which I purchased the shoes had hand marked the shoes as “B” width (American) and had noted that they are narrow. I would say that the shoes are a bit more narrow than other EG’s I have tried on, but I am not sure that “B” is the technically correct width for an American sizing. (I have a normal D width foot in US sizes. I have a very low volume foot from sole to tongue, so I wanted an unlined shoe that fit very snugly in all dimensions.) If you have a wide foot, I don’t know that these shoes would work well for you.

Asking: SOLD. Reasonable offers considered, especially in connection with other items that I have for sale on BST.
