Reproduction WWII Navy N-1 Deck Jacket

Reproduction WWII Navy N-1 Deck Jacket

Jacket Size
  1. M 40US / 50EU
Color
  1. Green
Universal Size
  1. L
For sale is this Japanese made MASH (MOC) Navy N-1 deck jacket reproduction in O.D. corded cotton shell with alpaca lining is as close as you can get to the original WWII era jackets in shell color and fabric weave, in the color and feel of the alpaca lining, and the overall weight and appearance. I had an original for a while, and the similarity was outstanding. I don't know how long it's been since MASH has produced this jacket, but they do not appear to be available now. The quality and attention to detail in MASH reproductions are hard to beat. The contract number on the label does appear to correspond to a WWII 1944 contract.

The jacket is fitted with storm cuffs in the lower sleeves. The zipper is a Talon and appears to be NOS. The marked size of 40 is a little understated (see measurements below). I am a size 43 and it fits me without layering, and I just feel the underarms a bit. If you are a 42, it should be okay with light layering or none at all.

I am the original owner. I wore the jacket sparingly for a few years after I got it, but it has been unworn in recent years and is in excellent condition.

Measurements:
Armpit-to-armpit: 24 inches
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back: 19.5 inches
Back length from bottom of collar to bottom of jacket: 28 inches
Sleeve from shoulder seam to cuff end: 2.55 inches

Priced at US$275.00 shipped CONUS (CONUS sales preferred. Add actual shipping for outside US)
