Good evening!
Please note: item location is Germany, from where it would be shipping. If you live in the US, you might want to consider buying these shoes directly from the Trickers outlet. I consider this offer to be interesting for those living in Germany / European Union.
For sale are these great Tricker's Bourton in green aniline leather, model 5633, last 4444.
This model is no longer available in regular sales. You can look it up on the Trickers outlet webpage. To avoid violating the forum rules already with my very first post I do not include a direct link.
The Tricker's size is 7.5 / UK 8 / EU 42. I recently bought these and unfortunately, I can't keep them. They are half a size too small.
I usually wear a EU size 42, thus I thought they would fit. Tricker's provides a very detailed description of how to determine shoe size:
I should have followed it better, then it would have been clear to me that I need a size 8.
For comparison: my longer foot is 26.5 cm long.
Rounded up to 26.7 cm (according to the instructions), that would have been size 8.
But the shoes are so beautiful that I really wanted to try them out.
Important note:
* This last (number 4444) runs slightly larger.
* So if you already have a Tricker's shoe (e.g. the Stow with the 4497S last) you will have to take half a size off.
The shoes are absolutely new.
Only tried on (at home) and barely walked within them.
See photos: no wear on the soles, no creases on the forefoot.
The shoes currently cost 275 pounds (GBP) at Tricker's Outlet, including shipping from the UK.
That's about 322 EUR. If you're unlucky, you'll have to pay customs duties on top (Brexit).
Usual sales price for a new pair of Bourton is 520 EUR.
I can still return the shoes back to Trickers until next Thursday, the 16th.
However, I would have to pay for the return shipping myself, about 30 EUR.
In addition, Tricker's would not refund the initial shipping costs.
That's why I'm happy to sell these for 279 EUR, plus shipping.
Please ask in case of any additional questions.
Thanks!

The original and still the best. Equally at home in Chelsea and at Cheltenham, Tricker’s hand-made country shoes have been leading the way since before Queen Victoria’s day.
