For sale here is the shown pair of John Lofgren Combat Boots in olive green CXL. I bought these from Standard and Strange in Oakland, and waited months to get them. These are a size 7.5, which is approximately an 8.5D in US. Standard sizing advice for these boots is 1/2 down from Alden Barrie last sizing, or take the same size as your Viberg 2030 last size. I find this to be true; I wear a Barrie last 8D and a 2030 last 7.5D. I wear a slightly wider than D width on brannock and these are very comfortable. The toe box is a little more spacious than either Barrie or 2030, if a tiny bit shorter.

These are grail level boots with incredible fit and finish; they are absolute tanks and will last longer than anything else in your closet. The sole is heftier than anything I have from Alden or Viberg. I've only worn these 3 times so they are not broken in at all; the CXL has just begin to crease, as shown in the pics. I hate to get rid of these but they just don't fit my style much, so reluctantly I am letting them go to someone who would get some use out of them. these cost $890 brand new; get them here for much less and barely used. They were stored with trees when I wasn't wearing them. If you don't care about the box let me know before I ship. It will make them easier to send. Otherwise they will come with the box.
